The Science Center (again!)

I know what you may be thinking, "They always go to the science center!". This is true. It is a great deal for me (only paying for Carter and parking) and I don't think we could ever get bored here! (even doing the same things over and over again!) This time we went with a friend from school Aidan K and his mom and brothers. We were there for over 4 hours and my kids were great!!! Here is what we did...

We then headed down to Nana and PopPop's for yet another round of gifts...

After gifts we headed over to Uncle Bart's house for a delicious dinner. Sophia changed out of her 1st Chrstmas outfit (finally!) and into a navy blue velvet dress that her Mommy wore when she was a little girl!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house, as we usually do. And once again we had a blast! We must have been really good this year because Santa brought us way too much stuff!

As you can see in this picture we had hardly started the opening. Carter also got a parking garage, books, a digital camera, a leapster game, a V-motion video system, and other odds and ends. Sophia got a mailbox, clothes, and the Laugh and Learn Farm that she LOVES.

8 Months Old!

My baby girl is 8 months old!!! I cannot believe how time flies! We have been busy this month with a lot of firsts! We had our first Thanksgiving, first trip to NJ, first visit with Santa, and even a first tooth (finally!). Yep on December 12th her first tooth popped in on the bottom, but there are no others in sight...yet! We also got our 3rd ear infection on December 14th leading us to a trip to the ENT in January (boo). Sophia is getting so active and doesn't sit still for long. We have more of a routine as far as eating and sleeping go (her naps have become more predictable) and she is eating some finger foods. We love watching her grow up, but wish it would happen more slowly!

You may notice in the crib picture that Sophia's eyes are closed, she now has her eyes closed in most pictures. When she sees the light that it is about to take a picture she squints her eyes and smiles. So funny, but very hard to take pictures...

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!

Like I said before we were in NJ the weekend of the BIG snow!! We had to dig our way to our front door to get in and luckly our neighbor helped Nick out just to get our shovel out of the garage!! While it wasn't great snow to sled in, Carter still enjoyed playing in it!
