15 Months Old!

I am 15 months old today!!
Many people I know go to the Dr. at this point, our Dr., however, said we can come anywhere between 15 and 18 months and he will combine the two appointments. He said the milestones are the same and there are only 2 shots so why come in twice just to get shots. Makes sense to me (since my daughter HATES!!! the Dr.). Carter was sick on Monday, so while we were waiting to be seen I tossed Sophia onto the scale just to see how she was weighing in! To my surprise she weighed 22 pounds even. This is only a 5 oz gain from 12 months. (I am used to about a pound a month with Carter who is now up to 43 lbs) I didn't get a height. But she is pretty healthy so I am glad about that!
Our maybe not so big girl at 15 months has 10 teeth (all 4 molars cut at exactly the same time, boo! but at least it is over with!) she still wears size 4 diapers and 12-18 month clothes. She runs and runs and runs (which may explain the lack of weight gain!) and will eat pretty much anything we give her, including veggies!
She LOVES Elmo and really anything Sesame Street, books, and balloons. She is a great dancer and keeps us quite entertained with her dancing.

A few of my favorite things, Elmo, books (especially about Elmo) and balloons. We don't actually have a stuffed Elmo so she has taken to carring around this Elmo slipper!

Another one of my favorite things, Carter's snorkling mask! I have no idea why she likes this but she brings it to me over and over to put it on her!
She doesn't say too much yet but her first putting two words together has occured and they are
"pretty baby." Sometimes it is three words "pretty pretty baby!"

She also says Dada and pretty much calls everything Dada. Baby is also still a favorite thing to say.

With the real Dada
She plays with her babies, rocking them in her cradle and carrying them around, hugging and kissing them, she also likes to push them in her shopping cart.

She also likes to climb up the ladder and go down the slide all by herself (as do so many other kids! like at Carter's 2nd birthday party)
She is VERY attached to me and when she is upset, hungry, or tired I am all that will do. Because of this she has been going to daycare once a week at our old in-home daycare that Carter went to. She is pretty good there (one really bad day when all 4 molars were coming in) and only really cries when I drop her off (and pick her up for some reason!)
We are heading down to Myrtle Beach for a week and it will be her first time there (hopefully she will like it despite her hate of sand!)
We love our little girl, her smiles and dances bring smiles to our faces and fulfill our lives!
