We are very fortunate that our families are both very close and we get to visit with them all during the holiday's. It can make them very busy but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Christmas Eve: Christmas at the Busche's
Christmas Eve is spent at my parent's house and begins with lunch followed by opening presents. Carter and Brady were very excited about opening presents and didn't really care who the present was for they just wanted to OPEN!!! We then headed to church where we met up with Nick's parents and then had dinner back at my parents house.
My mom made this cashmere scarf for me!!
My dad with his bottle of Johnny Walker Gold

Brad with his Fish Pen (it is a full length fishing rod folded up into the size of a pen, a very BIG pen, but still a pen)
Christmas Morning: At Home
Christmas morning we spent at home, just the three of us. Carter woke up (not too early) at about 8:30 and was so excited to see that Santa had come to his house. (We have a video, I will see what I can do to upload it) Carter got everything he asked Santa for the rolling Tigger and the Mickey Mouse roller coaster. He also go a few other things from us, one of his favorites a magnifying glass went with us everywhere we went that day! Here are some of our family shots.

You can see the magnifying glass in the picture of me and Carter.

I got Nick a new toaster, that apparently he knew about thanks to a GREAT secret keeping son!

Wii Fit! (that says I am overweight based on my BMI, guess I have some work to do :)
Christmas Day: Christmas at the Crivella's
After our Christmas morning we headed down to Nick's parents house for our third and final Christmas. Nick's brother, Vince, and our sister-in-law, Michele (who is expecting their first son February 21st!) drove down from New Jersey that morning to spend the day with us. We had our third round of opening presents and we were definitely spoiled this Christmas. Carter got an easel and an awesome tool bench that he cannot get enough of. He will play with it for hours (thanks Uncle Vince and Aunt Michele)! We also received a basket that was personalized with our house on the front from Aunt Margy and Uncle Bart.
We had a great Christmas and look forward to next year when we will have 2 new additions to the family to celebrate with!

The House Basket
We were also fortunate to be able to have all of the Crivella's together for a family picture, including Nick's Grandma (who will be 95 on January 31st). With the help of a tripod and the camera timer we got a great picture!
