So I know this was awhile ago (over a month) but I never got around to posting about it mainly because we didn't take too many pictures ourselves. The last week in August we went to Bethany Beach with Nick's family. We stayed right on the beach in a Sea Colony high rise and we all had a BLAST!!!We were able to stay at the beach all day (we haven't done this since before Carter was born!) Sophia just LOVED the beach and thanks to the hurricanes and some HUGE waves a small tide pool was formed that Sophia loved to splash in (I am sure the warm temperature of the water helped too!)
We were joined on our vacation not only by Nick's parents but also by Nick's brother, Vince, our SIL, Michele, our nephew, Justin, GUB, Aunt Margy, and a good friend from college Joe McBride and his family (wife Jen and daughter Maddie).
We played in the sand, swam in the pool, took walks, and despite the very hot weather managed to have so much fun that we all can't wait to go back next summer!

My little fish! Carter really got comfortable in the water going under, blowing bubbles with his nose, even kicking his feet while floating (with water wings) with his face in the water!
