The Results are In!!!
Baby Crivella #2 is most definitely a ... GIRL!!!!!
The sonogram lady was very quick to notice what the sex was, so I thought she saw "something" since it didn't take her very long. Also the baby's heart rate was low at 132bpm so we both were thinking boy even though we didn't say anything, so when she said it's a Girl I was so shocked and think I still am!
Nick and I are over the moon excited that our baby will be a little girl, although I am not sure that Nick is really ready for a Daddy's Little Girl, even though he claims to be ready! Here are some pictures from the sonogram. Other than finding out that we are having a girl, we found out that she is very healthy and growing perfectly. She has 10 fingers and 10 toes, 2 hands and 2 feet, as well as a beautifully developing brain and a 4 chamber heart!!! (These are the things we are really the most excited about, finding out the sex was just a bonus!)

Touching her head! She seems to like using her hands, she was grabbing her ear moving her hands around a lot! (it is sooooo weird to write she!)

Tomorrow is the BIG Day!
So I know I haven't posted in awhile, but I got this new camera for my birthday and I don't exactly know how to get the pictures off of it yet. Actually I don't know where the cord is, Nick has put it somewhere and I don't know where it is. Anyway tomorrow is our 20 week ultrasound!!! While I am only 18 weeks it is still in the range, and why wait!! I will post tomorrow after the ultrasound with picture of both baby and belly as well as the results! Do we need to buy pink? Or do we already have all the blue we need? Your guess is as good as mine!
PS Baby has been MOVIN' Nick has yet to feel it but when I am just sitting down I can feel it!!! Yay! (It is still the cool flutter feeling no kicking in the ribs...yet!)

Halloween
We had a great Halloween this year! Carter LOVED trick or treating in his elephant costume and I was amazed at how much candy he got!
We started the evening carving pumpkins. I had printed out a template that I thought would be fun to carve out of a pumpkin, Nick didn't think that it was very fun, but it turned out GREAT!!! Can you guess what it is? It was a hit with all the trick or treaters too!
Carter went out in his elephant costume and pumpkin to collect candy...
And we ended the night eating candy in our underwear!
Here is a picture from Ms. Jeanne and Ms. Amy's Halloween party! What a crew!!!

Capon Springs
Every year in October my family (my mom and dad, Nick and I, and usually my sister and her family) go to a "resort" in West Virginia called Capon Springs. It is kind of like going back into time. Everyone eats together in the dining room at the same time, the menu is always the same (day to day and year to year) and there is a bon-fire sing-a-long on Saturday nights. It is a wonderful relaxing place to go to for the weekend and is usually the epitome of fall since it is in the mountains and the trees are all changing colors. There are trails to hike, pigs and cows to see, and a new addition to the place is a spa (which I took advantage of getting a facial for my birthday!)
My sister was unable to come with use because of a wedding Brady was in and she was missed. But we were joined by a bunch of my parents friends, their children, and their grandchildren. There are 3 boys (one of them is Carter) that were born within a month of each other so they had a great time playing together (especially since it rained all day on Saturday). We had a lot of fun and cannot wait to go back next year with both of our kids!!!
Here are some pictures of our visit:

When we first got there on Friday it wasn't raining so we took advantage of the weather and played at the playground.

The three musketeers (Carter, Landon, and Garrett)

Carter helped to raise the flag on Sunday during the Nation Anthem that they play every morning before breakfast.

At the bon-fire

At the spa they have family "swim" time where they turn the hot tubs into swimming pools. We went for a "swim" Saturday night, Carter had so much fun and even went under the water a bunch of times and came up laughing, he didn't want to get out!
