Carter is 3!!

I cannot believe it! My little baby is 3 today. It seems like just yesterday I was holding a tiny baby and now he is an independent little boy (who still likes Mommy to hold him from time to time). Everyone always says "It goes by so fast!" Well it does! It doesn't seem so long ago that I was in the hospital getting ready to see my little boy for the first time.

And then all of a sudden he was a 1 year old toddler.

Before we knew it he was turning 2!

And now we have a 3 year old who will be starting preschool next week and is so excited to be a Big Brother. My Baby is growing up!

As we wait the arrival of Carter's little sister I am sad that he is no longer going to be the "baby" but I think he knows he will ALWAYS be my baby boy!

I Heart Faces

So, some of you may have seen that I have been participating in an online photography blog called I Heart Faces. Many of the pictures that get entered are from professional photographers, so I don't think I really ever have a chance of winning, but each week they make a collage (or a few collages) of some of the pictures that were entered for that week. I have been hoping to "make" the collage ever since I started and this week it happened!!! Check out this post on I Heart Faces to see my "Wonder"ful picture of my baby the first time he saw snow! Just found out I could put the collages on my blog. Carter is in the top one 1st column 3rd row. And Brady is in the second one 4th column 1st row.
Karen and I have never been so excited to be included in something like this. There are usually close to 300 or even more entries so to be picked (even at random) makes us very excited!

Birthday Fun!

This past Saturday we had a lot of birthday's to celebrate. We began the morning at brunch for Nick's grandmother's 95th birthday. We had a great time celebrating with family.

We then headed up to Walkersville to go duck pin bowling for Brady's 4th birthday. The boys had a great time playing.

We went to dinner at a great Mexican restaurant and then headed back to Brady's house for presents and cake.

We had a busy but fun day!
