The weather became very warm at the end of last week through Saturday. Carter and I took advantage of the 80+ degree weather and had some fun playing with what we call the "Spray Ball". I saw this water toy on the show Jon and Kate plus 8 and it looked like so much fun. I was in Target and I saw the toy for only $9.99 and HAD to get it.
At first I thought the ball would inflate when the water ran through it...I was wrong.
Carter just played with it deflated since I didn't have an air pump and almost passed out trying to blow it up! Then our neighbor, Scott, came to the rescue and we got to play with the "Spray Ball" the right way. Carter LOVES it!

Sticker Man
It has been awhile since I have posted so here is an update.
Carter has continued to be very busy. My parents came to stay the night before they took a trip to Texas and my Dad brought a sheet of stickers. Carter thought they would look good as body art. I'll let the pictures explain the rest.

The Easter Bunny!
Last weekend was Easter! The Easter bunny came in full force with three Easter Egg Hunts and 2 Easter baskets! We spent Saturday at my parents house coloring Easter eggs and having an Easter egg hunt. Sunday morning the Easter bunny brought an Easter basket and hid Easter eggs filled with Play-Doh. For Easter dinner we went to my sister, Karen's house for another Easter egg hunt and another filled basket! We had quite a weekend, the weather was beautiful and the boys had fun playing outside.

The Merry-Go-Round
There is a Merry-Go-Round at the mall in Columbia that we should own. I think we are the reason it is still at the mall and has not gone out of business! Riding the Merry-Go-Round is one of Carter's most favorite things to do. So today (after waiting at the post office for over an hour to get his passport) I took him to the mall to get a haircut and go on the Merry-Go-Round. We often go to the mall just to ride the Merry-Go-Round. Carter also loves to get his haircut solely for the reason that he gets a lollipop (which he is eating in the picture!)

Pump It Up
As many of you know this past week I have been on spring break. Spring Break is not really a break when you have a 2 year old and I have come up with many activities for us to do this week, so Carter won't get bored (and I won't go stir crazy!). We went to the Science Center in Baltimore (which I keep forgetting to bring my camera to!) on Monday, the mall and the Merry-Go-Round on Tuesday, my parents house on Wednesday, and today we went to Pump It Up in the morning and to lunch with Emily and baby Jack at the mall. After lunch we went to the matinée showing of Horton Hears a Who (which was very good)!
So we have had a busy week and we will end the week getting Carter his passport and a visit from the Easter Bunny!
For those of you who aren't familiar with Pump It Up, it is the COOLEST place for kids. It is an indoor inflatable playground with slides (the slides are crazy tall and Carter has never been scared of them, check out the top picture and you will see how big the slides are!) and obstacle courses similar to the ones that were on the old game show Double Dare. The best part of Pump It Up is that for Carter it is free and adults play free as well, so it is a fun, inexpensive activity to wear your kids out!
Here are some pictures I took of Carter playing:
Climbing up, what a STRONG kid!
Sliding down!
Sleeping like a Baby, I mean like a Big Boy
As I wrote in the previous blog the big boy bed has arrived and we have been pretty successful. Here are some pictures of the first night:
We did have one night where he did not want to sleep in the big boy bed, but he didn't want to be back in the crib either. He wanted to sleep with either me or Nick in the guest room bed. Other than that night we have been successful...but Carter has become the world's best at coming up with excuses not to go to bed!
